We are seeking experienced an Body Shop Painter/Repair Technician, for our paint and body repair shop. Seeking a person who will be responsible for providing full-service pre and post-repair, paint and body work for our customers’ equipment, performing all work in an efficient and safe manner and to industry quality standards. TEC Equipment's collision centers provide the highest quality body, paint, fabrication, detail, and collision work and our technicians are trained to work on Volvo, Mack, Autocar, Hino, and other heavy duty equipment. Our Parts Department has an opportunity for a Parts Counter Sales Associate to join our team. In this position, you will sell parts to all available customers, find new opportunities for sales by seeking to understand each customer’s challenges and needs, and create valued customer relationships.  Sales are completed over the counter, through the shop (Service Department), and on the phone. Creating valued customer relationships is dependent on embodying TEC Equipment’s value proposition throughout all customer interactions. Your top priority will be to create a seamless experience for our customers between the Warehouse, Parts Department, and Service Department.  

This position’s primary responsibility is performing all functions of a highly skilled Truck/Trailer technician and will act as the supervisor and trainer for other Technicians on the floor. The Lead Technician’s primary role is a fully productive technician, and at times, assist the department leadership by assisting technicians with diagnostics, scheduling workflow, assigning technicians to jobs appropriate to their skill levels, and helping technicians prioritize their time.   The Lead Tech must have technician followership by maintaining the highest standards, in alignment with TEC’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

A Mobile Service Technician diagnoses and maintains heavy duty vehicle operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and keeping records. The Mobile Service Technician performs most duties off-site. The Service Driver is responsible for picking up and delivering customers’ trucks for Service. If time allows, the Driver will also assist the branch’s Porter(s) with keeping the trucks and lot orderly to ensure smooth and efficient traffic flow through the facility and increase customer convenience. The person in the Service Driver role must be able to embody the TEC Way in order to provide each customer with A+ customer service.
