The Regional Parts Sales Manager is responsible for managing a team of Outside Parts Sales representatives (OPS) within a defined geographic area and will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and growing truck and service parts sales and profitability within the region in concert with branch management and the outside parts sales representatives.
The Regional Parts Sales Manager will be primarily responsible for:
- Partnering closely with our branch operations and corporate fixed ops teams on establishing meaningful and actionable sales growth plans, and holding teams accountable to achieving all Sales Volume and Gross Profit objectives.
- Leveraging regional market intelligence and benchmark information to identify tangible opportunities for incremental sales and gross profit growth.
- Coaching and Developing the outside parts team’s overall abilities, selling skills, and business acumen.
- Monitoring the performance of outside parts sales representatives through regular branch visits and accompanying them on customer ride-alongs.
- Ensuring compensation plans are consistent with corporate guidelines and executed appropriately.
- Guiding new account acquisition activity and helping direct reports successfully penetrate all accounts.
- Coordinating and facilitating vendor training and marketing initiatives for the outside parts team to support sales initiatives.
- Effectively navigating TEC Equipment’s internal business processes (CDK, TDP, Salesforce) and functional areas (branch operations, service department, Corp Fixed Ops) to support the sales team and improve performance.
A successful candidate for this role will be action-oriented, possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, is able to influence and clearly communicate both upwards and outwards in the organization, possesses heavy duty truck and trailer industry knowledge, and has a demonstrated track record of profitable sales growth.
The Vice President of Trailer Sales is responsible for providing strategy and leadership over TEC’s company-wide Trailer business.
Key areas of responsibility include:
- Primary relationship manager and TEC point of contact for all Trailer OEM’s (Wabash, MAC, et all)
- Optimizing the entire market Revenue (Volume, Price and Mix) opportunity
- Optimizing Trailer Department Net Profit
- Optimizing our selling management and sales people
- Providing leadership and strategy for company-wide trailer inventory management
- Partner with other TEC revenue streams (New Trucks, Leasing, Parts, Service, Finance, etc.) to optimize cross-selling
- Gatekeeper and facilitator of company-wide best practices
The Vice President of Trailers is member of the Corporate Executive team and a fully functional advanced professional with extensive knowledge of trailer products, the trailer industry, and supply chain and logistics.
This person must build and maintain strong working relationships with Corporate peers, regional Directors/VPs, branch General Managers, and Trailer Sales Managers.
This person also conducts self and makes decisions in alignment with TEC Vision, Mission, and Values at all times.

The Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist primary role will be to maintain the health of our vendor accounts while always exhibiting the highest levels of professionalism and customer service. The AP Specialist will establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors. The AP Specialist must also maintain open lines of communication with branch personnel to ensure invoices are processed in a timely manner. Accurate work is essential to establish trust with vendors and internal customers. The AP Specialist also must be proficient in working with TEC’s AP Software’s (CDK, Yooz) as well as navigating in various vendor websites. Intermediate experience in both Microsoft Excel and Word is also required for this position.

The Service Foreman is a “working” foreman and spends approximately 50% of the time working on jobs and 50% on leadership responsibilities. This position is responsible for performing all functions of a highly skilled diesel technician and will act as the supervisor and trainer for other Diesel Technicians on the floor. The ideal candidate will be able to ensure optimal efficiency and quality by assisting technicians with diagnostics, scheduling work flow and assigning technicians to jobs appropriate to their skill levels, and helping technicians prioritize their time.
