This position is primarily responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing, and repairing heavy-duty trucks. We offer in-house advanced-training opportunities - we are one of only three dealer groups in North America that is certified to conduct all Mack/Volvo training up to the master tech certification within our in-house Training Centers. We cover travel costs for our technicians to attend training. We also offer a family-oriented work environment.
The Rental Manager reports to the Region Director and is responsible for running the rental department for a location(s). They are responsible for maximizing gross profit for the rental product and do so through sourcing and maintaining the rental customer base, managing controllable rental fleet expenses, and optimizing vehicle utilization. From time to time, they work closely with the region director to manage the rental fleet by identifying aged assets for disposal and recommending additional rental equipment orders. A Mobile Technician diagnoses and maintains tractor operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and keeping records. The Mobile Technician performs most duties off-site. All duties are done with a high priority on safety. A Mobile Technician for TEC Equipment is responsible for delivering a customer experience that ensures TEC is truly recognized as our customers’ Best Business Partner.
