Overview

Our Service Department has an excellent opportunity for an entry level Service Advisor to join our TEC team. The Service Advisor acts as a liaison between customers and our shop, utilizing skill in documentation and communication to manage work orders and facilitate the proper and timely repair of customer's equipment. Service

Responsibilities

  • Compete inspections of customer equipment, document information, and use inspection sheet to document thorough information about the vehicle’s service needs.

  • Understand the work that needs to be done to the vehicle and address specific customer concerns. 
  • Communicate with customer throughout the repair and payment process to create an overall positive experience for our customer.
  • Use the dealer management system to open and manage work orders and ensure efficient work flow and completion of work orders.
  • Answer phones and greet customers with professional and welcoming tone. Provide top notch customer service to all customers (by phone, in person, email, etc).
  • Keep track of status of all trucks in the shop and provide customers with updates according to their preferred method of communication.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to have compassion for our customers and work well with a wide range of personalities and emotional states.
  • Excellent communication skills - oral and written (frequent and detailed documentation is required in this position).
  • Mechanical inclination and attention to detail, proficiency with data entry and computer skills.
  • Commitment to complete Service Advisor training.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet insurance requirements.

Compensation

The base pay range for this position is $21.18 to $26.47.
