TEC Equipment sells a wide inventory of new and used trucks and also features parts, service, and financing. We have an immediate opportunity for a customer and sales-driven Used Truck Sales Representative who wants to be part of continuing to drive our success and status as a leader in the industry. In this position, you will be responsible for developing new sales accounts and achieving monthly sales goals. To be successful, you will need to be a self-starter that will work hard to make a difference for our customers and our company. You must be assertive and persuasive, with superior communication skills to listen to and engage potential customers. This position offers tremendous opportunity within a very large market. Responsibilities

  • Identify, profile, and call on prospective customers within assigned territory, developing and applying strategy as necessary to obtain orders.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities. You must be comfortable with EXTENSIVE cold calling. You must have the drive to generate and follow through on new leads.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction from start of sale to delivery of truck, resolving any issues that may occur.
  • Maintain contact with existing customers in relation to their needs; connect customers to other internal departments as needed (e.g., finance, service, parts, insurance, and collision center).
  • Stay up-to-date on inventory, market, and customer trends.

Qualifications

  • Previous successful sales experience meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – you must be persuasive and be able to engage potential customers
  • Ability to learn equipment specifications to communicate effectively with customers
  • Ability to build relationships with customers, source business, and achieve sales goals
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record (no infractions in past 3 years)
  • Current CDL license and experience with class 8 truck sales preferred

Compensation

The total pay range for this position is $104,299 to $130,374.
