We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Painter/Repair Technician, for our brand new paint and body repair shop. Seeking a person who will be responsible for providing full-service pre and post-repair, paint and body work for our customers’ equipment, performing all work in an efficient and safe manner and to industry quality standards. TEC Equipment's collision centers provide the highest quality body, paint, fabrication, detail, and collision work and our technicians are trained to work on Volvo, Mack, Autocar, Hino, and other heavy duty equipment. The Service Foreman is a “working” foreman and spends approximately 50% of the time working on jobs and 50% on leadership responsibilities. This position is responsible for performing all functions of a highly skilled diesel technician and will act as the supervisor and trainer for other Diesel Technicians on the floor. This position’s primary responsibility is performing all functions of a highly skilled Truck/Trailer technician and will act as the supervisor and trainer for other Technicians on the floor. The Lead Technician’s primary role is a fully productive technician, and at times, assist the department leadership by assisting technicians with diagnostics, scheduling workflow, assigning technicians to jobs appropriate to their skill levels, and helping technicians prioritize their time.   The Lead Tech must have technician followership by maintaining the highest standards, in alignment with TEC’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

A Mobile Service Technician diagnoses and maintains heavy duty vehicle operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and keeping records. The Mobile Service Technician performs most duties off-site.
