A Mobile Technician diagnoses and maintains tractor operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and keeping records. The Mobile Technician performs most duties off-site. All duties are done with a high priority on safety. The Refrigeration (Reefer) Technician is responsible for the maintenance, diagnosis, and repair of refrigeration units on trailers and trucks. This includes performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, and ensuring that units operate efficiently and meet all DOT and customer standards.
