The Graphic Designer is responsible for managing and executing the creative design process at TEC, as it applies to a variety of projects. This is one of three in-house graphic designers on our six-person Marketing team, which functions as an in-house agency, providing design support for our overarching corporate brand, but also our over 30 locations and their needs. As a part of this team, you will tackle TEC’s print needs from ads to brochures, to signage in our dealerships and at events, to assisting our digital marketing teammates in creating assets for email marketing, web and social.
You know your way around the usual suspects - color, typography, imagery, spacing, layouts – but also around larger strategic thinking like logo and brand design. You are comfortable driving projects and are a self-starter who is driven by curiosity and finding solutions. You enjoy the collaborative nature of being on a team, as well as receive and give feedback with an open mind. You’ve got prior experience managing vendor relationships of all kinds, and see vendors as valued and critical extensions of our own team. You are energized by a wide variety of projects. You’re a multi-tasker, and while your right brain dominates, your left brain keeps you organized and on track without much oversight.
The right candidate must be persistent, pro-active, detail-oriented, comfortable multi-tasking and a hardworking professional able to work well in a team-oriented, “client”-focused environment. You are also an excellent communicator in written and spoken word. We enjoy a hybrid work environment as we value what in-person collaboration can do for our solutions and our team.
